Q: What is the difference between "general admission area" and "grandstands"?
A: Grandstands are located around the circuit at ideal positions, providing you with the best view of the race. All grandstand tickets are reserved seats, thus allowing you the flexibility to leave your seat and walk around the circuit, knowing that your seat will be there when you come back.

The general admission area basically consists of the lawn surrounding the racetrack. You can either stand or sit in this area wherever you wish. You may take only folding chairs with you into the racetrack area. Nor does the general admission area provide any shelter in the event of inclement weather.

Q: Besides grandstand tickets, do you offer any other special VIP tickets including meals or a special VIP service?

Q: Is there a minimum night stay for the package?
A: Yes, as the Formula One is regarded as a special event, hotels in Melbourne generally impose a minimum night stay requirement for their guest. During the Formula One weekend most hotels have a minimum night stay time between 3 and 4 nights.

Q: Are your prices based on per person or per room?
A: All 2009 FORMULA 1™ ING Australian Grand Prix prices are per person.

Q: When I book more than one person in each package, will the seats be issued beside each other?
A: If you order more than one ticket in your package, the seats are always issued beside each other. Should this for any reason not be possible, e.g. because it is too late, we will advise you beforehand so that you can decide whether to accept seats in another grandstand or seat separately.

Q: As all of the seats are numbered, is it possible to reserve specific seats?
A: Yes, you may put in a request as to where in the grandstand you want to sit when you pay for your ticket package. However, we cannot guarantee if you will receive the seat(s) requested. If the specific seat(s) you requested are not available, an alternative will be provided to you or you may request another specific section.

Q: How old do children have to be to be able to book a concession ticket at a reduced rate?
A: Children's ticket are available to children 12 years and under when accompanied by a paying adult in the same grandstand.

Q: How can I pay for my package?
A: Sportsnet Holidays accepts credit card payments & bank transfers. Credit cards accepted incur a minimal surcharge, VISA & Mastercard 1.5%, American Express and Diners Club 3%.

Q:How do I pay by bank transfer?
A: Our bank details including BSB and Account Number are located on our invoices. Please refer to our bank details when transferring money into our bank account and advise us once done, so we can keep an eye out for your payment.

Q: When are tickets sent out?
A: As Sportsnet Holidays do not physically print the tickets in our office we normally receive them approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the Grand Prix. Tickets are then checked in our office, scanned into our system and couriered out to you.

Q: How are tickets sent?
A: Packages are couriered by Toll Priority.

Q: How do I get to the circuit by public transportation?
A: There are FREE Trams operating between the city and circuit.

NOTE: Normal tram fares apply on other tram routes that operate past the Circuit.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY Peak hours: 2 minute intervals.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY Peak hours: 1 minute intervals.

Q: Are there discounts for students, children, families, groups or retired people?
A: Concessions will be offered to State Government Senior Card holders, Pensioner Concession Card holders, Full-Time Students (including Inter-State and International) and juniors between the ages of 13 and 15. Concessions are not available for Health Care Card holders. Identification must be produced at time of purchase and/or on request upon entry to the circuit.

Q: Do I have to carry my ticket with me at all times?
A: All spectators must keep their tickets on them until they leave the enclosure; spectators must show their tickets if asked to do so by the organiser's employees or co-workers.
