Sportsnet Holidays V8 Supercar Travel Packages are firing on all cylinders, after a successful 2008 our Darwin Hidden Valley 2009 package include track tickets, hotel nights, exclusive driver event and more.
One of the toughest races of the year, Hidden Valley is a fantastic track, offering the likes of Winterbottom, Tander, Whincup and the Kelly Brothers passing opportunities a plenty and usually shows some great racing.
South of Darwin, Hidden Valley Raceway has a lot of high speed characteristics, with the main feature its 1.1-kilometre long straight where the V8 Supercars can reach up to 265km/h, before they reach the left hand turn of the anti-clockwise 2.9km circuit. The average speed around the Hidden Valley circuit is 147km/h, and is also known for its turn 5 hairpin where the average speed mid corner is just 65 km/h. A V8 Supercar that flows well through the sweeping bends in the second part of the track should be expected to post a quick lap time.
